You want the best value possible!

The great thing about the Internet is the ability to receive nearly instantaneous feedback from consumers. In our case, the feedback was loud and clear. In this economy, you want the best value for your hard earned dollar--even when it comes to cutting edge technology products such as the iWavecube.

You spoke and we listened carefully. So, the best value that we can deliver to you is the original 600 watts iWavecube at a great value price of $99. When the economy improves or when we grow large enough to offer two product lines, we'll roll-out the iWavecube 2.0.

Although we are a small company,we are sensitive to the needs of our customers. We're in this together. We are happy to bring back, by popular demand, the original iWavecube. This is our contribution to help stimulate the economy.

Thank you for your feedback. Keep it coming.

Art Imitates Life: 30 Rock Draws Inspiration from iWavecube

Art Imitates Life

Last Thursday, the plot line of NBC's popular 30 Rock seemed to take a page from my playbook. On 30 Rock Alec Baldwin's character, Jack Donaghy, spent the entire episode in search for the right name for his new small, portable microwave. In real life, I named my invention the iWavecube. In case you missed it, here's a link to the 30 Rock episode:

The Power of Television

I couldn't quite figure out why our web traffic had suddenly and significantly increased Friday. It was up by 400%. Obviously, upon reflection, people came to our website looking for the Fun Cooker after Googling small portable microwave. And once there, fortunately for our company, they placed some orders for the iWavecube. I am forever indebted to Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.

Thank you.

A New Purpose for Microwave Technology: Increasing Employee Productivity

As the GREAT RECESSION drags on and layoff mounts, employers are increasingly seeking productivity gains. After trimming staff, CEOs often turn to HR consultants for training programs or look to invest in software that will yield increases in productivity and higher profits. Often the payoff from those investments can take weeks, months or even years.

However, a small investment in microwave technology can yield daily productivity gains of up to 12% among white collar workers without a CEO laying off a single employee. Companies might also see lower health care costs among those employees utilizing microwave technology for their personal benefit.

LOST TIME

How much time is wasted during the working day? The range of productive time lost in the workplace is estimated to be somewhere between one and two hours. A personal microwave in a cubicle or on a desktop can cut that lost time in half. For example, at the beginning of the day, those that need their coffee reheated or oatmeal fix will spend ten to 15 minutes to walk roundtrip from their desk to the communal microwave to reheat their coffee or heat their instant oatmeal. At lunch time, the line to heat up lunch from the vending machine in the communal microwave can last anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes. Time lost during the staff meeting to reheat the coffee mug, once the coffee goes cold, amounts to five to 10 minutes of lost productive time.

In the current economic environment, employees can and must do their part to increase the level of their personal productivity. iCubed International, is the maker of the iWavecube, the world’s smallest and first personal microwave. The iWavecube takes up less than one cubic foot of space and fits easily into the tight space of an office cubicle, home office or the open air of the executive corner office.

Increasing one’s personal productivity helps that employee during annual evaluations. The best way to keep your job is to increase your perceived value by your boss. And, becoming more productive than your co-workers is a competitive advantage that can go a long way to being perceived as more valuable. Employees can increase their personal productivity by working smarter and not harder simply by making better use of the available working hours. A personal or desktop microwave can make you 12% more productive than your co-worker in a 8 hour day simply by reclaiming an hour that is lost to reheating coffee or standing in line for the communal microwave only to see yesterday’s lasagna still splattered on the walls and ceilings of the communal microwave.

LOWER HEALTH CARE COSTS

“In the current economic recession “Brown bagging it” should be the norm.” Even though restaurants are offering value meals, there is no restaurant offering that is both less expensive and healthier than a meal brought from home. People who want to save time and money as well as eat better would benefit most from investing in a personal or desktop microwave at work to reheat a healthy, portion controlled size meal prepared at home. Eating better should lead to weight loss which should lead to healthier employees and that will definitely lower health costs.”

Recession Survival Tip: A Personal Microwave Can Save You Time, Money and Your Job

Everyday, it seems, the only news is bad news. Stock Market Down. Thousands Laid Off. Americans Gripped with Fear. More Americans Struggling. Recession or Depression? Does it Really Matter? The burning question on everyone’s mind is: What can you do to survive in the worst economy since the Great Depression? The answer is: Invest in a personal or desktop microwave”.

Although it may seem far-fetched to some, a personal or desktop microwave can save you time, money and even your job. The iWavecube, the world’s smallest and first personal microwave. The iWavecube takes up less than one cubic foot of space and fits easily into the tight space of an office cubicle, home office or the open air of the executive corner office.

Soon, we're going to start taking orders for the iWavecube 2.0!

Perseverance is a beautiful thing!

Our small company has, in the past 15 months, endured a lot including weathering the economic storm of our lifetime.

2008 started off with a bang! The iWavecube began selling in early 2008 in Sharper Image stores and catalogs. Sales really took off in March when the iWavecube gained 15 seconds of fame (literally) with an appearance on ABC's The View. Then, Sharper Image filed for bankruptcy which threatened to take our company along for their ill-fated ride.

After Sharper Image went under, Linens 'n Things (with whom we had a pending purchase order) bought the farm, then the stock market crashed, and the rest, as they say, is history. Can you say "white knuckles"?

Yet, despite the turmoil in the global economy and because of the continued increase in visitors from around the world to iWavecube.com (I sincerely thank you for visiting), our company is now poised to soon launch iWavecube 2.0 which is 33% more powerful than the original iWavecube while still keeping the same dimensions (10.5" (W) X 10" (D) X 12" (H) and maintaining the same portability and light weight of about 12 pounds. The unique features and benefits of the iWavecube will be featured in the Smart Home by Wired magazine beginning on March 18, 2009.

In about two weeks, we will start taking orders for the iWavecube 2.0 from our website. You will see the addition of the shopping cart and storefront to our website by March 15. However, because of the downturn in the global economy, our company must be prudent about managing working capital in such an environment.

So, there will be only two or three production runs in 2009. The first production run will ship from China in mid-May and arrive in the US by around June 1. The second production run will ship from China in mid-June and arrive in the US by around July 1.

If you want to give the iWavecube as a Christmas gift then keep in mind that the third and final production run for 2009 is scheduled for August and will ship out of China in September and will arrive in America in October.

For fans of the iWavecube, outside of the US and Canada, we are working very hard to establish relationships with distributors that can get the iWavecube directly out of China and to you in a timely and efficient manner.

I will post information about the iFridgecube and the iToastcube in about 60 days. The goal is to make both products available in time for Christmas 2009.

Thanks for your support.

Have a wonderful day!

Phil
